Midge has been a resident of Hingham for the past 25 years, with her husband Bob and five children. Midge’s background is in Physical Therapy with a masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania Durgin was awarded the Citizen of the Year Award, October 2002, by the Hingham- Weymouth Kiwanis for her contribution to the youth of the Hingham Community. She was nominated for three consecutive years as Citizen of the Year in Hingham . Midge was awarded a Community Service award in 1993.Midge taught religious education at St. Paul Church and delivered meals on wheels for many years. All of her children have attended Hingham Public Schools.
