What is the Initial deposit to reserve my date? 
To reserve your requested date, Black Rock Country Club will require a signed Wedding Agreement and a non-refundable Deposit in the amount of the room rental fee and applicable tax.  Black Rock Country Club will accept a personal, bank check, or credit card for deposit payment. 
Do you accept credit cards? 
Yes, BRCC does accept credit cards as a form of payment.  Additional acceptable forms of payment are personal check, bank check, and cash. 
What is the cancellation policy? 
Initial deposits are non refundable, cancellations will result in loss of deposit. 
How and when is the balance of the full payment due?
Please contact our Event Coordinator to discuss payment schedules as payment structures will vary according to nature of event.
May I hire an outside catering service?
All food and beverage at Black Rock Country Club is provided by our skilled and creative catering Chefs and staff. 
Do you have a Dance Floor? 
Yes, we have a 20x20 parquet dance floor.
Can the dance floor be moved? 
Yes, it is a portable dance floor 
How many hours may we have use of the Function Room? 

The Function Room is allocated for a five hour rental period.  Additional overtime fees will be charged after a (5) hour period.

 

Are Table Linens Available? If so, what color? Are other colors available?
Black Rock provides white or ivory, floor length linens and coordinating napkins, which are included in the rental fee for all tables. If colored napkins or linens are requested, they will be provided at an additional fee. 
  Room Set Up: 
Do you have more than one wedding per day?  
No, Black Rock Country Club hosts one wedding reception per day.
What is the seating capacity for round and/or banquet tables?
The seating capacity for a seated dinner reception is 180 guests seated at eighteen round tables of 10 with a 20x20 dance floor, bar and room for band or DJ.  
What food service styles are available (cocktail style, formal, buffet)?
We offer a cocktail-style reception for up to 250 guests with limited seating.
Buffet reception with seating up to 170 guests.
Formal seated dinner with seating up to 180 guests.

May we have our marriage ceremony at the Black Rock Country Club? 
Yes, Black Rock Country Club has an outdoor Pavilion available for ceremonies during the months of May through Mid October.   
Where can photographers take photos? 
There are several beautiful and picturesque locations in and around our Clubhouse facility.
  Cocktail and Dinner Reception:
Do you have a list of hors d'oeuvres? 
Yes, please view the menu selections posted on our web site for more information. 
Can we offer more than one entree to our guests? 
You may offer a choice of two entrees to your guests. The higher price entrée will be 
charged for all guests.
Do you include a Wedding Cake for the Reception? 
We do not include a wedding cake, although we do include dessert with your entrée selection.  If you choose to have an accredited baker provide a wedding cake, Black Rock Country Club will be happy to slice and serve the cake for an additional fee.
Do you offer a Champagne/ Wine Toast?
Yes, Champagne and/or Wine Toast options are available. 
How is Gratuity charged? 
A 15% Gratuity, 7% House Charge and 5% Tax will be added to all food and beverage charges.
Will a Wedding Coordinator be available during the Reception? 
Each Wedding will have a Wedding Coordinator and Banquet Captain on site to insure the highest standards are met. 
Is there a charge for bar set up and bartenders? 
One bar with bartender will be set for cocktail hour and another bar with one bartender will be set for your dinner reception.  We will be happy to provide additional bars and/or bartenders for the duration of your reception at an additional charge. 
What types of decorations may we bring in? 
Decorations must be approved by the Director of Sales and Events.  Black Rock Country Club will not allow items to be affixed to the surface of our walls.
According to the fire code, we also, cannot allow open flamed candles that are not contained in a glass votive or hurricane.
When may we begin decorating - Floral Arrangements, etc?   Removal?
Decorations may arrive three hours prior to your event, and must be removed immediately following reception.  Please note:  Any decorations left behind after an event will be discarded.  
Are the prices guaranteed? 
Your meal selection price is subject to increase by no more than 3% due to market pricing.  All beverages will be billed on consumption at the current price point.

Is Valet Service Available?

Do you have an off-season rate? 
Black Rock Country Club does offer a discounted room fee for weddings booked in December through March.
